This summer, we are extending our programming to students to avoid learning loss and to provide more social opportunities for them! We are looking for Summer Learning Coaches to run summer programs at our Dover, NH location. The mornings at KaiPod sites will focus on academics and the afternoons will be filled with enrichment. Each Summer Learning Coach will receive a thematic unit plan with materials (science, art or games based on the session) to implement with students. Coaches will also have access to pod games and materials to offer other facilitated socialization times at the pods, too.

There are three core responsibilities to being a Summer Programs KaiPod Coach:

Create a positive social experience for students. A Kaipod Coach’s primary responsibility is to lead and create an incredibly positive student culture. KaiPod is a space where students make friends, complete challenging enrichments, and look forward to coming everyday. Together, the Coach and students work on developing social skills that are critical for life success.

Support students with academics. Each morning, students will participate in academic programming. Some students will come with their own homeschool curriculum. Others will use our blended learning programs. KaiPod Coaches accelerate student learning by supporting students in both of these areas.

Lead engaging thematic enrichments. Each afternoon, the KaiPod Coach will guide students through a two-hour thematic enrichment that has been planned for both the coach and students. Enrichments will include science, art and games based on the session theme. The Coach will need to make the plan come alive with students!
