After School Teacher

During the school year: Part-time hours (approx 29 hours a week) 12:30pm to 6:00pm; Monday - Friday

Out of school time: (i.e. summer, winter, and/or spring break) hours may vary, but will remain a part-time position. Out of school time hours may range from 7:00am – 7:00pm. Candidates must be able to work hours that reflect teen population hours.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Data enters member data and participation into database
• Creates lesson plans and prepares materials for programming Leads activities designed to foster students’ mental, physical, and social development
• Works with youth individually or in groups to facilitate programming
• Provides feedback to Club youth using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage, motivate, or build confidence in students
• Enforces Club rules and policies
• Maintains a professional and role-model persona
