Job Description

The Princeton Review/Tutor.com’s Learning Services Team manages a remote workforce of over 3000 tutors. Tutor.com is regularly recruiting and onboarding tutors to serve our growing user base. The Part-Time Onboarding Coordinator is a critical member of our staff. Reporting directly to the Director of Onboarding, the Part-Time Onboarding Coordinator supports all aspects of the onboarding process including processing and reviewing applications, communicating with potential candidates, directing candidates through the various steps to completion, tracking applicant progress and recommending policy and procedural changes.

 Major Responsibilities:

  • Provides support to the Onboarding Specialist through duties that include the following:
  • Formatting and sending Part-Time Employee (PTE) paperwork to assist with weekly volume as needed
  • Tracking receipt of completed PTE paperwork sent
  • Responsible for weekly email to lagging paperwork recipients
  • Responsible for bi-weekly or monthly cleanup of non-responders
  • Trained in the tracking document to know where in the process applicants are and how to provide support
  • Other duties as required
  • Provides Level 1 Support for the whole Onboarding team:
  • Answer basic applicant inquiries
  • Answer PTE applicant inquiries
  • Escalate tickets to the Onboarding Associate, Specialist, or Director for more complex issues as needed
  • Onboards new tutors as needed
  • Assists in driving applicants through the process through email and phone outreach as directed
  • Other duties as required

Education, Background, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Must have graduated from a four-year college or equivalent work experience. Degree in education is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are required
  • Must have excellent skills with Excel
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with the public and possess a strong commitment towards customer service.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Light tech support skills a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
